Weston’s practice is focused on civil litigation. She defends insurance companies and individuals in a variety of civil matters, including personal injury claims, construction defect claims, and high-exposure wrongful death and catastrophic injury cases.
Education & Experience
Weston J. White graduated from Washington and Lee University in Lexington, VA in 2009, where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts in English. She then attended the University of South Carolina, where she participated in a 4-year dual-degree program and obtained a Juris Doctorate from the School of Law and a Master of Mass Communication from the School of Journalism and Mass Communications. During law school she clerked with the Senate Judiciary committee and several civil litigation firms. She was admitted to the South Carolina Bar in November 2013.
Upon her graduation from law school, Weston served as judicial law clerk the Hon. D. Garrison Hill, Circuit Court Judge for the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit. During her clerkship she assisted Judge Hill in a variety of civil litigation matters, including personal injury, business litigation, and product liability matters, by drafting memorandum on matters taken under advisement, preparing jury charges and verdict forms for trial, reviewing briefs, motions and orders submitted by attorneys, researching applicable law, and presenting recommendations to the Judge.
Weston and her husband, Rhoades, enjoy spending time with their friends, family, and Boykin Spaniel named Hank. Weston is also active in the community through her involvement with Junior League of Greenville, Greenville Women Giving, and the Washington and Lee University S.C. Piedmont Alumni Chapter.
