Education & Experience
Jose Linares graduated from the University of Central Florida in 2012 with a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies (Criminal Justice, Spanish, and Military Science). After graduation, Jose served in the United States Army 82nd Airborne Division, 1st Battalion 504th Parachute Infantry Regiment at Ft. Bragg, North Carolina. He earned his Juris Doctor from the University of North Carolina School of Law in 2019. During law school, Jose earned two CALI Awards, was named to the Dean’s List, and served on the Journal of International Law. He also interned at an international law firm where he drafted various commercial agreements.
Prior to joining Eller Tonnsen Bach at the Charlotte office, Jose worked for a personal injury firm in Nashville, Tennessee. When he is not practicing law, Jose enjoys spending time with family and friends, as well as hiking, running, and weightlifting. He is a parishioner of St. Ann Catholic Church.
