Education & Experience
Paul concentrates his focus on all manners of Insurance Defense issues; including Workers’ Compensation, General Liability and Auto-Liability litigation, and coverage opinions.
Paul is originally from Ohio, where he attended Ohio University. He secured a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, with a minor in History. Prior to law school, Paul was an adjuster at a nationwide insurance carrier, focusing primarily on auto, and homeowners, injury claims.
Paul attended Charlotte School of Law, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude and with Pro Bono Honors. While in Law School, Paul won the Intraschool Mock Trial Competition, graduated in the top 5% of his class, was a Presidential Scholar, a member of Order of the Crown, and on the Trial Advocacy Board. Additionally, Paul was a Teaching Assistant in Torts, and won the Cali award for Civil Procedure II.
Prior to joining ETB, Paul worked as an Associate providing Employers and Insurance companies defense in all matters of Insurance defense issues; including coverage opinions for complex Underinsured Motorists issues, Workers’ Compensation, and Liability claims. Additionally, Paul has provided defense to a multinational corporation in a case before the North Carolina Business Court.
While not working, Paul enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters. His family enjoys hiking, travelling, and spending time with friends and family. He is an avid Cleveland sports fan, hoping against hope that his teams will not disappoint him in the most heartbreaking fashion possible any further.
